Small Arms - John Harman London Flintlock pistol, manufactured approx 1730-1750, .62 caliber, brass trigger guard with engraved accents, fine English walnut frame, engraved brass side plate in the style of a dragon, dual ramrod thimbles, 8-1/2 inch round barrel with British proof marks and carved V sight, top stamped "J HARMAN, LONDON" with light engraved frame around signature. A lovely British flintlock pistol for the person who always fancied themselves a swashbuckling pirate. Includes a green carry/storage case.
CONDITION:
Good action; fine overall cosmetic condition, smooth bore with light oxide on the inside, small crack on walnut frame at frame tip running along the bottom to below the first ramrod thimble, numerous other dings on walnut frame and barrel as well as scattered areas of oxide, pitting and finish loss, excellent matching ramrod with worm intact; brass trigger guard and accents with light dings, nice even patina.
